Polish-American Cultural Society of Metropolitan St. Louis - http://www.polrail.com/pacsstl  - 10257 Halls Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63136. Annual dues are $15 per person, $10 for seniors and students, $150 for "lifetime" and $500+ for "heritage" memberships.   The Polish-American Cultural Society has produced programs, some grant supported, in the areas of Polish art, language, literature, drama, history, dance, crafts, foods and observances of significant traditions. We have a small library on Polish subjects, and publish a monthly newsletter, as well as a quarterly journal called "Hejnal."

The St. Louis Metro Polka Club  -  www.flokfire.org/polka - 826 Greenwood St., Madison, IL 62060.  Every Thanksgiving weekend for 3 days they put on, the St. Louis Metro Polka Club main event, The Polka Festival.  This year it is at the Marriott Pavilion Downtown.

Polish Language

 

St. Louis Community College at Meramec, located in suburban Kirkwood, currently offers two levels of Polish language classes. A beginning and an intermediate level class are offered in the fall and winter terms. To register contact St. Louis Community College, Meramec, at 314-984-7777.

 

Polish Radio and TV Programs

Polish Polka Program & Polka Plus, hosted by Anthony Kaminski, A lively, amusing and informative look at the Polish community. Host, Anthony Kaminski brings you exciting music and delightful guests along with news from Poland and pleasant conversation. Sundays, 4 to 6 p.m., WEW 770 AM.
